The Silence of the Frost
If whisky is the art of accumulation, vodka is the science of omission. As Spirits Architects, we view Black Lake not as a product of addition, but as a study in what can be removed. Our work in The Laboratory is dedicated to resolving the conflict between the liquid and the senses by eliminating the noise of traditional production.
Inspired by ancestral Siberian rituals, we utilise a modern evolution of frost purification. Through intensive sub-zero frost filtration, the spirit undergoes a thermal shock that binds microscopic impurities at a molecular level, allowing for their absolute removal. Only then is it passed through traditional charcoal to achieve its final, polished refinement.
The result is what we define as the Absolute Silence of the Frost – a spirit of weightless neutrality and silky-smooth texture. From our double-stage filtration to our meticulous bottling on the estate, we ensure that every drop meets the Atelier Standard.
Standard: Premium Pure Smooth.
Process: Dual-Stage Filtration (Traditional charcoal filtration followed by intensive sub-zero frost filtration) blended with pristine Scottish water.
The Physics: Thermal shock captures microscopic impurities, binding them into larger particles that are then trapped during the next filtration step.
Sensory Goal: Absolute neutrality and a weightless, silky-smooth mouthfeel that vanishes on the exhale, leaving the palate refreshed and still.
